This little lady is my shout-out to Roy Lichtenstein and the wonderfully dramatic world of Pop Art. With bold colors, comic-book dots, strong black lines, and plenty of attitude, she looks like she should be stepping right out of a vintage comic panel. And that little tear? Well… Greg, you’ve got some explaining to do. I can almost hear her thought bubble: “Greg...you just wanted me for my honey.” The Pop Art Bee measures approximately 10" wide x 10.75" tall, is framed in came, and hangs with a chain. She is hand-painted, with wire detailing used for her antennae and other little touches that bring her to life. She’s colorful. She’s sassy. She’s a little heartbroken. POW! What more could you want from a bee?

Second in the Bees in Art Genre series, our Prairie Bee is a testament to the California bungalows that still cover the coast from Baja California all the way to Canada. With it’s familiar palette of deep golds, olive greens and smoky blues, one can almost hear the waves crashing against the shore on a foggy morning in Monterrey Bay. Our Bee is 14 ½” x 11 1/4”, framed in zinc and done in the timeless Tiffany-style, and is hung with chain.

This cute little stained-glass hive is buzzing with three, tiny, enameled bees. Crafted using the traditional copper-foil technique and finished with a chain for hanging, it’s a cheerful little bit of handmade goodness for any bee lover. 5" x 5 1/4".
