Second in the Bees in Art Genre series, our Prairie Bee is a testament to the California bungalows that still cover the coast from Baja California all the way to Canada. With it’s familiar palette of deep golds, olive greens and smoky blues, one can almost hear the waves crashing against the shore on a foggy morning in Monterrey Bay. Our Bee is 14 ½” x 11 1/4”, framed in zinc and done in the timeless Tiffany-style, and is hung with chain.

This cute little stained-glass hive is buzzing with three, tiny, enameled bees. Crafted using the traditional copper-foil technique and finished with a chain for hanging, it’s a cheerful little bit of handmade goodness for any bee lover. 5" x 5 1/4".

This copper-foil technique panel is a reproduction of a classic English window design but with an added surprise: delicate wire work in the wings of the bee. The piece is 15 1/2" x 15 7/8", framed in zinc, and hung with chain.

We try our best to match that photo and match that glass color, however, there are occasions when one glass sheet doesn’t look exactly like another. Small in size but hugely adorable, this member of the Worker Bee hive collection of stained-glass is our Tiny Hive. Done in the copper-foil technique with six hexagons and one hand-painted tiny, yellow bee, this little hive measures 3 3/4" x 3 7/8" with the bee adding just an approximate 1/4" more length as he dangles from his little chain. (Notice his tiny little stinger!)
